Tips For Becoming A Better Fishing Charter Client

It does not matter where you are headed, you have to understand that there is a certain etiquette in the world of fishing charter. If you are left unaware, you might encounter some easily avoidable blunders that can affect your fishing trip negatively. Regardless of where you are booking your next fishing excursion, the tips provided below will help you become a better client and have an enjoyable fishing trip.
Make A Good First Impression
If you want to make sure that you start your day right, don’t forget to ask your captain if you can come aboard. Keep in mind that the boat is their livelihood, office, and where they spend most of their time, so can bet that it is very dear to them. Even if you know that they’re waiting for you and are ready to give you a warm welcome, asking for permission to come aboard is one good way of getting into the captain’s good side and one of the best ways to show them respect.
Absolutely No Bananas On The Boat
This reminder is no joke. Most captains of Myrtle Beach fishing charters do not allow bananas on the boat. There are several theories as to where this belief came from. Even if you don’t believe it, there’s nothing wrong if you don’t bring any right? If you do and the boat encounters mechanical failures or what not, you can bet that you and your banana will be blamed for it.

CHARTER FISHING MYRTLE BEACH

The Benefits of Going Charter Fishing
Fishing is a fun outdoor activity but things get more exciting when you go deep sea fishing. Listed here are some of the great benefits of going charter fishing in Myrtle Beach.
Different Catches
Going charter fishing gives you the chance to catch deep sea fish that you won't get if you fish out on the lake or close to the harbor. Not knowing what will happen and what you might catch gives you that exciting feeling. Being able to catch new fish makes you more knowledgeable about fishing and it also makes you a better angler.
Face New Challenges
You will also come across new challenges since you will be dealing with different fish. If before you just do the same thing, deep sea fishing will make you experience new things and how you used to fish may not work effectively anymore. For instance, you may have to change your bait often or change how you reel in your fish when you go charter fishing.
Different Setting
When we fish, many of us are accustomed to the low and normal water waves. But when you go to deeper waters, you will find a different atmosphere. The waters are much less unforgiving and a lot higher than what you are used to. You may also find throwing out a line more difficult because of the strong waves and wind. Being in this kind of setting will significantly improve your angling skills, plus, you will have a more enjoyable experience.
Have Fun With The Crew
Deep sea fishing is a great outdoor activity if you are looking for one that will help you escape the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Since you will be with a crew, the activity is going to be twice as fun and exciting. You'll make new experiences and make new memories that will last for a very long time.
If you are looking for an exciting, memorable, and unique fishing trip, be sure to call Captain Ricky Long Fishing Charters.

About Captain Ricky Fishing Charters
Captain Ricky Long comes from a family of fisherman. His father, Lawrence Long, started charter fishing in Little River South Carolina during the 1930's. He passed along his knowledge to Ricky and his other sons.
Born and raised in Little River, little Ricky started to make money cleaning fish at the tender age of 5. He then worked his way up to a mate on a boat and received his masters license and became a Captain.
Ricky continued the family's business as a charter boat captain. He has owned and operated Captain Ricky Charter Fishing for over 30 years. He prides himself in excellent customer service and making each patron happy.
He knows the waterway and ocean around Little River like the back of his hand, and having spent his entire life fishing the local waters, he knows where all the fish are, too.
Captain Ricky strives to make your fishing trip the most enjoyable charter you've ever been on. He may work you hard and tell you to drop your line, wind up your line… but you will see he is making sure you get your money's worth and trying to help you catch the big one!
